Well I must say I hope nobody else has my experience with these boots. I must admit my first impression was that they were very comfortable when I tried them on which is what led me to buy them (or actually, have my company buy them - they furnish our safety shoes). After a few months however, I began to experience an intermittent severe pain in the joint of my right big toe. At first I didn't associate it with these boots - figured I must have strained it trail running or something. Eventually though I noticed a pattern where when I didn't wear these boots for a while - vacations, business trips away from the plant, etc. - I wouldn't experience this problem. Finally I went back to wearing my old pair of safety shoes last month & problem solved - no more pain. Again, hope nobody else has this problem but these things were crippling me.
